It's no secret that LinkedIn's been throwing some curveballs lately. If you've noticed your post views, engagement, and new follower counts taking a dive, you're not alone. This is feedback I have been hearing across the board and seen a lot of discussion from various LinkedIn experts on.

So, why are we seeing this drop? LinkedIn's been busy working on new features and cracking down on some not-so-authentic engagement tactics. They're all about promoting video content, giving new voices a chance to shine, and using AI to personalize your feed.

If you haven’t seen already, there has been a rise in so called engagement pods. This is ultimately getting a collection of people to like and comment on your posts, no matter the content. Some people have been caught out automating this process and LinkedIn has started cracking down on it, and quite rightly so (keep an eye out next week where I will talk about this in more detail).

So what can you do to ensure you still thrive on LinkedIn?

My advice would be to lead with authenticity, ensure you are delivering value and experiment with different types of posts.

But here are some tips tangible to make the most of your posts on LinkedIn:

📹 Embrace video content: LinkedIn's changing much like other social platforms, so hop on the bandwagon and create some engaging videos that showcase your expertise and personality.

💡 Get creative with your posts: Mix it up with polls, thought-provoking questions, and eye-catching visuals to keep your audience on their toes.

💬 Spark meaningful conversations: Encourage your followers to share their thoughts and experiences by asking open-ended questions and responding to comments.

🤝 Collaborate with other experts: Team up with like-minded professionals to create valuable content, host live events, or share each other's posts to expand your reach.

📈 Monitor your analytics: Keep a close eye on your post performance and adjust your strategy based on what's working and what's not.

Remember, success on LinkedIn isn't just about the numbers – it's about building genuine connections, providing value, and being authentic.
